Jazzplayseurope

For almost three years now, jazz initiatives from 6
neighbouring
countries are joining forces under the umbrella of jazzplayseurope.
The
aim of this far-reaching network is to connect regional networks and
up- and coming artists in order to establish regional jazz projects
beyond borders.
The result of the first two years of jazzplayseurope is
impressive: about 20 bands from all of the initiatives have played
concerts throughout the participating countries.
jazzplayseurope-laboratory:
6 countries, 6 musicians, 4 days of trial &
error and 1 memorable concert tour through Europe.
The highlight of jazzplayseurope in 2009 was its first
international
laboratory band: 7 of the most promising musicians joined forces iand
made for one exciting pan-European jazz
band. The European tour of this band was highly successful.
